PerkinElmer Webinar on Hyphenated Techniques for Materials Characterization – March 26, 2020

Hyphenated analytical solutions involve coupling two or more discrete analytical techniques in order to increase data output from a single run and improve understanding of materials characterizations. This PerkinElmer webinar will focus on hyphenated techniques for evolved gas analysis (EGA) where a thermogravimetric technique, such as TGA or STA, is combined with a secondary technique such as FTIR, GCMS, or FTIR-GCMS. Hyphenated technologies can be utilized for a wide range of industries including environmental, polymers, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, petroleum, and food.

The webinar will describe fundamentals and how hyphenated techniques can be utilized in your lab to increase productivity and solve analytical challenges. Topics covered include:

  • Analytical Hyphenation
  • Fundamentals of Hyphenation
  • Hyphenated Techniques such as TGA/STA hyphenated to FTIR, as well as TGA/STA hyphenated to FTIR and GC-MS
  • Applications & Solving Complex Challenges.
